Desmond Coppin, Noah Hand, Zariya Scullark (11), and Graham Burks pose in a telephone booth for a band photo. The group has propelled in popularity since their debut three years ago, making massive strides in the Memphis teen music scene.

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to come together. People eat many different plates like turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, many different sides and lastly many desserts.

Vecna, the villain of the show, plans to destroy the world, and especially Hawkins, a small town in Indiana. Venca’s background is full of the killings of his parents and sister.

Each vendor at the Memphis Youth Art Mart was expected to bring and supply their own materials, including tables. Tram Nguyen (11) organized her oil paintings across her booth to sell to interested customers.

Anson Yan (11) competed in the Briarcrest Regional Art Contest in his sophomore year. In the same year, he won the national Scholastic Art competition.

Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet Eva Cole (10) wears her uniform, featuring a golden star above the nameplate. The golden star was given as one of the rewards for White Station High School winning best unit out of Memphis Shelby County Schools.

A student presents their “edible cell” lab, with cookies and candy representing cell organelles. Joseph Harris’s students were tasked each year with creating a model of the cell made entirely out of food.
Cell-ebrating biology — Harris prepares his students for life
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report on Youth Risk Behavior, part of which identified the percentages of teens falling into categories like "experienced persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness" to “were injured in a suicide attempt that had to be treated by a doctor or nurse”. Although there have been slight improvements over the past two years, in the last decade the mental health of teens has been declining.

Alina Liu (12) moved to Montreal, Canada, before moving to Memphis, Tenn. She lived in Canada for four years before moving to Memphis because of her father’s new job at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
